UEFA bans former coach Petr Vlachosvky for life
The UEFA has adopted drastic and decisive measures against the former Czech coach Petr Vlachovský to suspend him for life so that he can carry out his duties throughout Europe. A measure that has also asked FIFA to make it executive for the entire world. Something that as soon as it is received by the highest body in world football, will be executable in the rest of the confederations.
The former coach has been sanctioned after being convicted of secretly recording his players in the locker rooms and showers and for possession of child pornography. Before his arrest, Vlachovský owned the UEFA Proy License and enjoyed great recognition in women’s football in the Czech Republicbeing chosen as the discipline’s best coach of the year in 2019.
The police arrested him in September 2023 after being investigated after intimate videos taken covertly were discovered on the Internet, confirming that he recorded 14 players of the FC Slovacko for four years. Additionally, police found child pornography on his devices.
In the resolution made official by UEFA it says the following.Mr. Petr Vlachovský. Incidents and sanctions:
• General principles of conduct, art. 11, section 1, of the Disciplinary Regulations (DR)
• Violation of the basic rules of decent conduct, art. 11(2)(b) DR
• Disrepute of football, and of UEFA in particular, art. 11, section 2, letter d), of the Disciplinary Regulations “
And it concludes: “Lifetime disqualification from carrying out any activity related to football. Request FIFA to extend the aforementioned disqualification worldwide. Order the Czech Football Federation to revoke the coaching license of Mr. Petr Vlachovský”
