The hockey agenda for 2025
A new year has begun and the excitement of the world of hockey begins with an agenda that will have the sport of stick and ball for all tastes. From the continuity of the Pro League, to the Indoor World Cup, the return of local competitions and much more.
After a 2024 of a lot of action, on December 15, the Santiago del Estero window closed at the beginning of the 2024/2025 Pro League. The international championship offers a quota per group for the 2026 World Cup that will be held in the Netherlands and Belgium and which already has both teams classified, in addition to Germany in women and Australia in men, the latest winners of the tournament.
Argentina will look for the possibility of obtaining that place in a season with eight series remaining:
– Sydney, Australia (February 4-9)
– Bhubaneswar, India (February 15-25)
– Santiago del Estero, Argentina (February 19 to 24)
– Valencia, Spain (June 7-8)
– Amsterdam, Netherlands (June 7-15)

The Super League will also begin its calendar with the qualifying competitions for the Super 8 (in Buenos Aires San Fernando A and GEBA are already classified for men and Lomas and Ducilo for women).
The action in the rest of the world will continue in April with the definition of the Euro Hockey League (EHL) 2024/2025 that will be played in Hertogenbosch, Netherlands, from April 16 to 21. In the men the Final 8 will be played, while in the women the Final 12 will be played. There will be a new champion in both tournaments since AH&BC Amsterdam (women) and Pinoké (men), the last winners, will not be part.
June will be the month that will see the most action. The 2024/2025 Pro League will close with the five remaining windows of Amsterdam, Valencia, London, Antwerp and Berlin (June 7 to 29).
