The perfect night of Stephen Curry, with eight of eight triples in the victory of the Golden State Warriors against the Philadelphia 76ersthe 38 points and seven triples from LeBron James with Los Angeles Lakersand the Jimmy Butler’s request to leave Miami They marked the NBA day this Thursday.

Even for the best three-point shooter in NBA history, this night was historic. Curry had never gone 8-for-8 from beyond the arc in his career.

At 36 years old, Curry finished the game against the Sixers with a double double of 30 points and ten assists, with eleven of fifteen field goals and a perfect performance from the arc. He also grabbed six rebounds in his 29 minutes on the court.

King James, who turned 40 on December 30, connected on fifteen of his 25 field goals on a night in which the Lakers were without Anthony Davis.

Max Christie had 28 points for the Lakes and hit five 3-pointers.

The losses of Jaylen Brown due to a problem in his right shoulder and of the Latvian Kristaps Porzingis due to an injury to his left ankle did not stop Joe Mazzulla’s team, second in the East with a balance of 25 wins and nine losses, behind the Cavs (29-4).

Tatum led the Celtics’ victory with 33 points, eight rebounds, nine assists and three steals. The number zero also shone from the arc with six triples.

Tyrese Haliburton led the Pacers’ big victory at the Kaseya Center in Miami with 33 points and fifteen assists, supported by Pascal Siakam’s double double of 18 points and eleven losses.

The Heat fell despite the great personal night of rookie Kel’el Ware, the fifteenth overall pick in the 2024 draft, who scored 25 points in 21 minutes off the bench.

Shortly after the end of the game, Jimmy Butler assured that he is not happy with the Heat and that his future will soon be known. The Houston native asked Miami to be traded.
