Bastoni, investigated for an alleged crime of prostitution of minors
The Italian defender Alessandro Bastoni is being investigated by the Milan Prosecutor’s Office for an alleged crime of prostitution of minors, within the framework of an investigation against a network that supposedly exploited this illegal practice and organized nightlife events, according to local media reports this Tuesday.
As reported by the newspaper La Republica and reported by the rest of the main media outlets in Italy, the Inter defender, who would be the first footballer investigated in this investigation, allegedly had a meeting with a young woman who was 17 years old at the time of the events.

However, the case is still not clarified, since the young woman, questioned as a witness, would have declared that there was no relationship between the two, although the investigation documents do contain indications that would point to an alleged meeting between them.
Bastoni’s name appeared in the framework of a broader investigation against “Ma.De”, an alleged escort agency based in Cinisello Balsamo (Milan) that, according to the Prosecutor’s Office, organized parties “all inclusive” for VIP clients, mainly footballers.
Today you received the judicial notification
This Tuesday, the player, who as revealed by the newspaper AS is in the orbit of a possible operation with the Real Madrid, received notification that he is being investigated, a formal act by the Prosecutor’s Office through which he is officially informed of his status as an under investigation, in order to guarantee his right to defense during the investigations.
Within the same operation, the Guardia di Finanza (Italian financial police) has summoned three other footballers to testify as witnesses, Daniel Maldini, Riccardo Calafiori and Kevin Bonifazi, although so far none of them are under investigation.
The investigation seeks to dismantle the agency’s criminal network, identifying the organizers of the events, those in charge of recruiting the young women and the drivers, and so far it has resulted in four arrests last April.
The organization’s main business consisted of organizing exclusive parties for celebrities in fashionable venues in Milan that included dinners, discos and overnight stays in hotels where the consumption of laughing gas was allegedly facilitated.
