Ayoka Lee almost surpassed Oklahoma she alone on a historic Sunday afternoon in Manhattan, Kansas.
Kansas State’s pivot made history against the Sooners on January 23, 2022, scoring 61 points to establish a single female basketball game of Division I of the NCAA in the victory of the Wildcats for 94-65.
Lee finished with 23 of 30 field shots (76.7%) and 15 of 17 from the free throw line (88.2%). It also had 12 rebounds, three blockages and a robbery.
Cindy Brown of Long Beach State (established in 1987) and the Escort of Minnesota, Rachel Banham, (2016) shared the previous record of the 60 -point Women’s Division I.
