Font-Romeu, ideal scenario today for Pogacar to increase its hegemony in La Vuelta

After the longest stage of this edition of La Vuelta, today there is a radical change of scenery with a day that begins on flat ground but little by little ascends towards the Eastern Pyrenees.

A 174 kilometer day in which you will probably ride at high speed given the profile of the route. The intensity goes from less to more, until at kilometer 75 of the day the road begins to patiently look upward.

The profile will rise step by step, until 16 kilometers from the finish line, the cyclists will face the first climb of the day: Col de Mont-Louis (1st, 19 km climb at 4.8% average).

After a slight flat and after a descent that is not delicate, the stage heads towards the outcome in Font-Romeu (2nd, 10 km 5% ascent), in which it is the first high finish of the race. An ideal setting for several runners, especially for the Slovenian Tadej Pogacarwhich could once again stamp its signature in the signature book of The Return to be more of a leader in the race.
