What the president of Rayo said about the few minutes that James plays

Raúl Martín Presa, president of Rayo Vallecanospoke about the importance of having the Colombian James Rodriguez on the team and ensured that his few minutes is because of the competition what’s on campus.

James is going through a difficult time at Rayo Vallecano. Since his arrival on August 26, he has barely played 136 minutes spread over six games, of which only one as a starter, the one on September 28 against Leganés.

During this time his presence on the substitute bench was constant and on four occasions, against Girona, Alavés, Sevilla and this last day against Athletic, was left without playing due to a technical decision. Nor did he do it against modest Villamuriel in the Copa del Rey due to discomfort.
