On Friday the 13th the semifinals of the Women’s World Cup will be held that is being played in India. The first will be at 8:45 (Argentina time) between England (7th in the ranking) and Scotland (14th), and the other will be between the locals (9th) and Italy (18th) at 11.

The teams that make the podium will qualify directly for the 2026 World Cup. Therefore, those who win the semifinals will already secure their place. Then we will have to wait for the bronze to find out who will occupy that third place.

Besides, The best 4th ranked between the two World Championships will have their space. The one in Chile has already ended and Japan (15th) was in that position. In other words, only if Italy comes fourth will the Asians qualify. If India, England or Scotland come in 4th, they will be the one that occupies that last place since they are better positioned.
