The Asisa Joventut-Morabanc, suspended due to the storm alert in Catalonia

The Club Joventut Badalona has announced the official suspension of the match that was due to take place this afternoon against its first team, ASISA Joventutagainst him MoraBanc Andorra. The clash, initially scheduled for this Saturday at 6:00 p.m., will not take place due to the forecast of an adverse meteorological episode that will affect the area in the coming hours.

The decision has been made preventively after evaluating the alerts and in strict compliance with the indications and recommendations issued by the Generalitat. Given the arrival of exceptional weather phenomena, the authorities and the club have chosen to avoid unnecessary travel and minimize any risk situation for fans and expeditions.

Through an official statement released on its institutional channels, the black-green entity has stressed that the measure seeks to prioritize the safety and physical integrity of people at all times. Both the organization and the sports organizations have agreed that the planned conditions did not guarantee the development of the event with complete normality.

Likewise, the club has confirmed the new date for the match. The duel between the Badalona team and the Andorran team has been rescheduled for next October 14, 2026, at 8:00 p.m..

With this postponement, both teams will have to readjust their competitive calendar in the coming weeks, waiting for the storm to subside and the weather conditions to allow them to resume normal sporting activity with full guarantees.

This Saturday’s matchday is also scheduled for the match between Kids&Us Manresa and the Breogán Riverstarting at 9:00 p.m. The Bages club has confirmed that the match will take place as planned since this region is not among those that have been included in high alert.
