Problems for Rybakina: Vukov will not be able to train her due to an ongoing investigation

After Elena Rybakina (6th in the world ranking) has announced the return of the Croatian coach to his team Stefano Vukovafter interrupting their employment relationship last August amid strong rumors of abuse, more than shocking news broke into the world of tennis.

“Hello everyone. I am excited to announce that Stefano will be joining my team for the 2025 season. Thank you all for the support. I wish you a great year“, the Moscow, Russia-born woman had announced through social networks. It should be remembered that a few months ago she had hired Goran Ivanisevic as her main coach.

In the last hours, The WTA announced that it is carrying out an investigation into the coach for having violated the Code of Conduct. There was always the suspicion of Vukov’s mistreatment of his pupil; in fact, on several occasions he was seen giving her instructions in controversial and disrespectful ways.

Despite this, Rybakina had come to his defense, even doing so not many weeks ago: “I know all the rumors that were around but we just parted ways. I think we had great results for five years, we achieved a lot. I started with him when he was number 200 in the world. We are fine with Stefano, I only wish him the best“,
