Oman will replace Pakistan in the men’s Jr. World Cup
The Pakistan Hockey Federation has notified the FIH that they have not accepted the invitation to participate in the upcoming Junior World Cup, which begins on November 28, in Chennai and Madurai, India. The Pakistani men’s team had qualified in the Asia Cup last year, and Oman will take their place.
The tournament has 24 teams: Argentina, Australia, Austria, Bangladesh, Belgium, Canada, Chile, China, Egypt, England, France, Germany, India, Ireland, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, Namibia, Netherlands, New Zealand, Oman, South Africa, Spain and Switzerland. They make up six groups, The Little Lions are in C with China, Japan and New Zealand, and The Diablos Jr are in B, with India, Oman and Switzerland.
