Luka Doncic leaves the game against the Wolves due to injury

Luka Doncic left the Christmas game between the Mavs and Wolves with a left foot injury and did not return for the rest of the game.

DALLAS — The superstar of the Dallas Mavericks, Luka Doncicleft the Christmas game against the Minnesota Timberwolves at the end of the second quarter.

Doncic, who recently missed two games due to a left heel bruise, winced in pain as he planted that foot after lifting his dribble. He immediately looked towards the Mavs bench and indicated that he was injured.

Doncic couldn’t get back on defense on the next possession and limped directly to the locker room to be evaluated after Dallas called a timeout with 2:31 left in the half.

Doncic scored 14 points in 16 minutes against Minnesota. He entered the game averaging 28.8 points, 8.5 rebounds and 8.1 assists per game.
