“It is an important and special game, because we both need to win, I play at my home – on your team’s court Panatinaikos-although it will be different because I will play in red and there red is prohibited,” he joked about the rivalry with the other great Greek team, Olimpiakos.
The youngest of the Hernangómez saga will face teammates like Dinos Mitoglou, Panagiotis Kalaitzakis, Kostas Antetokounmpo or Dimitris Moraitisalthough he warned that, “during the match there are no friends” and he will “fight and give everything” for the Spanish team.
About the setback against the Portuguese team (89-95), the Panatinaikos forward believes that they have to “learn” from the defeat and highlighted the response of the young players of the Spanish squad “that at the end of the game they were frustrated and angry and that means that they want to compete and learn because they are going to have defeats and bad games like everyone else and they have to learn from them, want to win and be ambitious”
