Jefferson Cepeda already wears the Movistar Team jersey

He Movistar Team presented its 2025 squad where the Ecuadorian appears Jefferson Cepedawho will live his first experience on the World Tour. Cepeda will have as companions the Colombians Nairo Quintana, Fernando Gaviria, Diego Pescador and Einer Rubio; and the Venezuelan Orluis Aular, who will also debut in the World Tour division. The main leader of the team is the Spanish Enric Mas who will fight to win the Tour de France and the Vuelta a España.

Jefferson Cepeda’s competition calendar is not confirmed, but the best options will be sought in careers with promotions, as that is its main characteristic. He trained at the Playón in San Francisco where Richard Carapaz and Johnatan Narváez also did. He has been a medalist in the South American and Pan American Games, as well as a national road champion.
