Jack Draper misses rest of season

The tennis player Jack Draper, former world top 10, he will miss the rest of the season with the aim of recovering from the arm injury that has tormented him for the last year.

Winner of Indian Wells last year and finalist in Madrid, the Briton, who became number four in the world in June 2025, has only been able to play seven tournaments since August of last year.

In 2026, he has only been able to win eight matches and, after skipping Wimbledon and the US Open, he has fallen below 150th place in the ranking.

“I’m going to take this time to reset and heal, so that when I can come back I know I’m 100%.”. Tennis is my passion and I want that when I play again there is nothing that can stop me,” the tennis player confirmed on his social networks.

The bad news for the British is that, having played the Masters 1000 in Canada and Cincinnati a few weeks ago, if he returned in January he would not be able to have the protected ranking, since this requires six months of absence from the circuit. Therefore, Draper will have to resort to the previous phases or invitations to be able to access the final draws of the best tournaments.
