“I hope you are ready”: Alcaraz left a warning for Sinner after the defeat at the ATP Finals 2025

Carlos Alcaraz (1st in the ATP ranking) He did not hide his satisfaction with his own level despite losing to Jannik Sinner (2nd) in straight sets in the final of the ATP Finals 2025. “I’m very happy with the level I played today. The Murcian, who managed to conclude the season at the top of the standings by just 550 points ahead, officially fell for the second time this year in six duels against the Italian, all in finals. While Alcaraz took the titles at Roland Garros, US Open, Rome and Cincinnati, Sinner pumped his fist at Wimbledon and at the ATP Finals.

“I am satisfied with my performance, but I have lost to a great player who has not lost on this type of court for a long time. Every match against him is a fight and today he defeated me“, recognized Carlitos, who concluded the current calendar with 71 wins, nine losses, eight titles and three runners-up finishes.

It should be noted that the history between them continues to favor Alcaraz, now for 10-6in a rivalry that promises to continue in 2026. For this reason, the Spaniard was forceful about the future: “I hope you’re ready for next year because I will be too.. I hope I can play more finals against you.”
