Two hours before the start of the third rehearsal session, the French team reported that the Australian will be on track in the rest of Suzuka weekend.

Alpine’s mechanics worked outdated throughout Japan’s night to recover Jack Doohan car, destroyed in the second free training after his error in the first curve. The Australian did not close the DRS and, without aerodynamic load in the rear, shot out the containment barriers when it turned 300 km/h.

“The team worked throughout the night to repair the 7th car before the third training session and the classification this Saturday,” an Alpine spokesman announced. “All car pieces were replaced, except the power unit,” he added.

The Estone -based team had to appeal to the spare chassis after Doohan’s tremendous blow and assemble everything from scratch, except the engine, as he communicated.

The pilot passed through the Suzuka route medical center immediately after the impact violet and injuries were ruled out. Of course, Magullones and pains in the body is the combo of sequelae that will drag for the rest of the weekend. Thanks to the team’s work, Doohan will have the chance of being able to find a tuning for classification and try to meet the weekend.
