EHL 2026: the history of the competing men’s teams
With only two days until the definition of the most important club tournament in Europe beginswe review the history of the clubs that qualified in the men’s branch.
Of the 8 qualified teams, there are two teams from England, Germany and the Netherlands and one from Spain and Belgium.
The team that has the most participations is SV Kampong (Netherlands), which will play its 12th edition, and became champions in the 2023/24 season. Madrid Country Club (Spain) They will play this phase of the Euro Hockey League for the ninth time and in the last edition they finished seventh. Along with AH&BC Amsterdam (Netherlands)are the only ones to participate in that number of tournaments, and the Dutch club will return after three years.
