Dayro Moreno and his special 2024 as FPC scorer

Dayro Moreno’s 2024 was quite eventful in Once Caldas that once again gave joy to the fans that many years ago he was not excited about reaching a Colombian soccer final. The striker also personally had a year full of emotions by achieving a historic mark in the FPC.

Apertura Tournament and the record as historic scorer in the Colombian League

Dayro Moreno was an important player in Once Caldas. His goals helped the Manizales team qualify for the semi-final home runs after several seasons. In that instance they did not have a good performance and were placed in third place in Group B with 8 points.

The striker was one of the scorers of the semester and finally caught up with Sergio Galván Rey as top scorer in the Colombian League. Dayro also surpassed him and was the only scorer in the FPC with 238 goals.

Dayro stalks Radamel Falcao Garcíawho surpassed Víctor Hugo Aristizábal as the Colombian historical top scorer. Moreno reached 347 scores and was only two points short of the Tigre’s record.

The Tolim native will continue on the Manizales team and by 2025 he will have a nice fight with Radamel Falcao for keeping the historical record of Colombian soccer.
