I accept them and I hope we move forward from this.and having a good weekend here is what we want. “Hopefully we can go fast.”
“(The activity) started early. Obviously I’m happy to be back here after a year and a very nice race (2024), with all the fans, a unique experience. Happy to be back and looking forward to having a good weekend,” added the native of Pilar.
Colapinto and his future: “If it were signed, it would be said”
After the rumors that were generated about his future, with a supposed confirmation during the Mexican weekend, discarded more than once by AM850.com, Colapinto was forceful: “I don’t read much, but I did find out that someone said it was yesterday, and obviously it wasn’t. If it were signed, it would be said. But nothing: we have to continue working and working as a team, with my engineers, who am doing very well. And then we have to try to have a good result here, keep doing what I’m doing and we’ll see.”
“We (Argentines) are very anxious. And I also, when you see the performance we have this year, you think in 2026, and to have a better year, to have the opportunity to race with a car that is competitive to show what is going to be. But first you have to get through 2025 and be focused on each race. Then the next thing will come,” concluded the 22-year-old pilot.
Finally, the ex-Williams referred to what is coming for his current team, Alpine: “We have to see how much the other teams are working in 2026, we don’t know. We are having a bad performance this year and It’s okay to focus on next year.. I hope that’s why.”
