Champion Naranjeros equals Charros in the semi-final series in LMP

Hermosillo defeats Jalisco to tie its semifinal in the LMP 1-1, like Culiacán, which matched Los Mochis
HERMOSILLO, Mexico — With a three-run attack in the sixth inning, the champions Naranjeros de Hermosillo defeated the Charros de Jalisco 5-2 on Sunday, to tie their best-of-seven series at one game apiece for a place in the Final Series of the Mexican Pacific League.
With the game tied at one run in the sixth inning, Jasson Atondo and Isaac Paredes had RBI singles, while Luis González drove in one more run with a double, to lead the defending champions to victory.
Hermosillo was the first to score in the second inning against Ronald Medrano, with an unstoppable RBI by César Salazar that sent Alfonso Rivas to the pentagon.
Jalisco tied the score in the opening of the fourth inning against Cuban Odrisamer Despaigne, thanks to Japhet Amador’s RBI double to right field that allowed Jack Mayfield to score.
Despaigne scored the win, reliever Jared Wilson took the loss and Thomas McIlraith was credited with the save with work of one and a third innings.
TOMATEROS BLANCHES CAÑEROS
In Culiacán, David Reyes pitched six and a third scoreless innings, while Ramón Ríos went 3 for 4 with two doubles and an RBI, in the 3-0 victory of the Tomateros de Culiacán over the Cañeros de Los Mochis , with which they tied their best-of-seven semifinal series at one game per side.
The scoreboard lit up until the end of the sixth inning when the Tomateros scored twice; Cristian Santana hit off Francisco Haro to drive in Esteban Quiroz and Dwight Smith Jr. received Tomás Solís with a double to drive in Joey Meneses.
The home team’s lead increased in the seventh inning with a double by Ramón Ríos that sent Rudy Martin home with the third and final run of the game.
For Tomateros Reyes opened and won with 6 and a third blank innings. Saved Stephen Nogosek. Braulio Torres-Pérez started for Cañeros and pitched 5 innings without allowing any damage, he got 4 hits, walked 3 and struck out 3. He was followed by the defeated Francisco Haro.
