Back to Spain 2025: Juan Ayuso conquered stage 12; Vingegaard is still leader

The Spanish Juan Ayuso (UAE) won the twelfth stage of the Tour of Spain played between Laredo and Los Corrales de Buelna, 144.9 km, in which the Danish Red Mail Danish Jonas Vingegaard (Visma) maintained.

Ayuso, in Duel al Esprint with another Spanish, Javier Romo (Movistar), won his second stage in this edition with a time of 3h.16.21, at an average of 44.3 km/hour. The third place has been for the Frenchman Brieuc Rolland, 1 seconds. The favorite group crossed the finish line for more than 6 minutes.

In the general classification, Jonas Vingegaard continues to the Portuguese Joao Almeida (UAE) and the British Tom Pidcock (Q36.5), 50 and 56 seconds respectively.

This Friday the thirteenth stage between the head of Salt and the Alto de L’Angliru, 202.7 km. It will be high mountain with end.
