Alcaraz already has his first rival in Paris
The American Alex Michelsen will be the first rival of the Spanish Carlos Alcaraz in the Paris Masters 1,000after having come back from his first round duel against the Czech Jiri Lehecka (6-7 (5), 6-2 and 6-4). It will be this Wednesday, not before 7:00 p.m.
The world number 35 already faced the number 3 in the last Tokyo tournament, which the Spaniard ended up winning.
Michelsen, a quarterfinalist in the last US Open, has averaged irregular results this season, but he is always a fearsome opponent, as he demonstrated against Lehecka, who could not impose his service game.
The Czech won the tiebreaker of the first set, but then was at the mercy of the American, who thus achieved his second victory in Paris, where he faces his fourth participation.
