A renewed Spain faces the England U-21 team
A renewed Spanish women’s XV rugby team faces the England U-21 national team this Saturdaycurrent world champion, in a preparation match for the European Championship that will take place starting at 4:00 p.m. at the El Pantano Stadium.
The coaching staff, led by Frenchman Régis Sonnes, has incorporated 15 new players into the squad with the aim of measuring the potential of emerging Spanish talent against a high-level rival.
After having a block of experienced players, the coaching staff is now committed to giving prominence to new players against an opponent that will demand high physical and tactical levels.
The Spanish team began a new cycle last weekend with a 39-0 victory against Belgium on the first day of the European Championship, a competition that Spain has won 12 times, eight of them consecutively.
Tickets for this match between the new Spanish team and the world champion’s youth team will be priced at five euros and minors will be able to enter for free.
