How have the best looked in the first month of the season?
How do you go to MLB star players during the first regular season? Here we review it.
This week will conclude the first full month of the Major Leagues (MLB) season and all the teams will pass the 30 games held, which represents about 20 percent of the total calendar. Using the list of the 100 best MLB players for the 2025 season, which we publish at the beginning of the campaign, we will review how April has been for the most outstanding stars in the industry.
Shohei Ohtani, Los Angeles Dodgers: The three times more valuable player has had a very good performance, acting in 26 of the first 28 games of the World Series champions. Zack Wheeler, Philadelphia Phillies: The Phillies star pitcher has had a typical pitcher starting that looks ready to fight the Cy Young award, again. Wheeler has a 2-1 mark, effectiveness of 3.62 and 50 strikeouts in 37.1 innings in six openings.
Two consecutive departures against the St. Louis Cardinals and the Atlanta Braves (April 8 and 13) in which it allowed nine races at 11.1 innings extraordinarily damaged the average Wheeler’s clean races, who only accepted six races in their other four openings.

Tarik Skubal, Detroit Tigers: Skubal began the defense of his Cy Young award of the American League last year allowing seven races in 10.2 entries in his first two departures of 2025, but then straightened to his real capacity.
Skubal (3-2, 2.34, 40 K, 34.2 Il) has not allowed races in three of its last four openings and exhibits average effectiveness of 0.75 in its last 24 entries.

Ronald Acuna Jr., Atlanta Braves: The Venezuelan super gardener has not been able to play his first game of the year, while completing a strict rehabilitation protocol of a reconstruction surgery of the anterior cross ligament of the left knee he received in June 2024.
Acuña underwent tests in Los Angeles on April 14 and, according to manager Brian Snitker, doctors authorized to start a second condition of conditioning before starting playing in rehabilitation matches. If everything goes well, the most valuable player in the National League in 2023 could return to the MLB in the second or third week of May.
