Víctor Wembanyama rented court in Costa Rica to play with children

The French basketball giant visited fortune in the midst of its medical recovery process

The stellar player of the San Antonio SpursVictor Wembanyama, he chose again to Costa Rica as destination during a key period of your physical recovery.

The 2.24 -meter stature basketball player entered the country on April 16 and left on Wednesday 24, as confirmed by the Directorate of Migration and Foreigners before AM850 consultation.

The visit to Costa Rica took place in a context of rest and medical care, after the official part of its injury was revealed on February 20.

Even so, the French took the opportunity to enjoy the weather and the Costa Rican nature, as he did on his first visit, in August 2024, when he was in Manuel Antonio after winning the silver medal at the Olympic Games of Paris 2024.

The 21 -year -old was seen in La Fortuna, a paradisiac site in Costa Rica, very close to the Arenal volcano in Alajuela.

A viral video left evidence that the French played with children from the town, what happened was that he rented a pitch so that for about two hours the children and could approach play with him, meet him, and take photographs.

Silvia Peñaranda, one of the owners of the Milton court spoke with AM850 about this special visit.

“He aquilled the court for about two hours, the entire complex, did so to be able to share with the local children, it is a soccer field so I imagine that it was to take care of the injury from which the country is recovering,” he told AM850.

“He is a person with an incredible charisma, the truth where he plays, and what he means for world basketball, who is here in Costa Rica and who behaves as he did is admire, it was a pleasure to be able to treat him, he spoke in English, but some other word escaped in French,” he added.

“Many famous people arrive at the courts, so fortune is, they ask for total privacy, one must be very cautious to ask for photos, but Victor was quite the opposite, without a doubt he behaved in a very humble way,” said Espn.

Wembanyama, just 21 years old, was the first selection of the NBA Draft in 2023 and is considered one of the maximum promises of world basketball, so he was going to walk with a small group of bodyguards that protect him at all times.
