Harriet Dart overcomes Tagger and wins her first individual title in Guanzhou

The British Harriet Dart conquered this Sunday in the tournament Guangzhou WTA 250 (China) the first title of her individual career by winning, with a comeback, the Austrian Lilli Tagger 6-4, 3-6 and 4-6 in two hours and eighteen minutes.

Dart, 115th in the world ranking, lost the first set to Tagger, number 53 on the WTA circuit, but then knew how to recover to seal an important victory driven by the 71% accuracy she had in points won on the first serve.

The 30-year-old Briton thus won her first title in her first final on the WTA circuit against Tagger, who won her first tournament this year in Prague (Czech Republic) on July 26.
