UCAM Murcia tests the recovery capacity of La Laguna Tenerife
La Laguna Tenerife will face this Sunday, against UCAM Murcia, the last of its three consecutive away games this week, which will test the Canaristas’ ability to recover both physically and mentally after their defeat in the Euro Cup.
Jaka Lakovic’s men will visit Murcia after their last league victory, in a hard-fought match against Unicaja Málaga that they closed with a 75-80 against their former coach, Txus Vidorreta, and a complicated defeat in the European championship against a London Lions that did not let the Aurinegros overcome at any point in the match to certify a comfortable difference of 12 points (89-77).
On the other side is a reinforced UCAM Murcia that once again hosts a Liga Endesa match at the Murcia Sports Palace after its victory against Barcelona in which they managed to win 100-94, thus recovering from their setback in the first match of the year in which they lost to Bàsquet Girona at home (84-77).
La Laguna Tenerife will thus seek to close this demanding sequence of trips with a victory that will allow it to establish itself in the domestic competition and confirm the good sensations offered in Malaga, against a rival that also aspires to consolidate its growth and that will force the Aurinegros to respond with intensity and collective solidity.
