A marvel from Messi is not enough for Inter Miami
Inter Miami is going through a small crisis of results from which it cannot escape. Taking into account the different competitions in which he participates, he has already accumulated 4 games without being able to win. In the last one, the one last morning against Philadelphia (2-2) at least it did not add up to the fourth defeat in a row. Leo Messi scored a great goal, the first he could dedicate to Jorge Messi, his father, since he died almost two weeks ago.
Philadelphia Union took the lead in the 11th minute with a goal from Indiana Vassilev, but Inter did not allow themselves to be surprised and turned the score around in less than 15 minutes.
Daniel Pinter and Lionel Messi, in the 21st and 26th, completed the comeback, which allowed Inter to have an advantage at half-time, with Messi, Luis Suárez and Casemiro on the field.
But Neil Pierre tied the match at 2-2 upon returning to the locker room, a result that could have been even worse for Inter if not for the VAR, which annulled Philadelphia’s third goal for offside. The referee sent off Yannick Bright, of Inter Miami, and Cavan Sullivan, of Philadelphia, for a brawl in the 13th minute of added time.
