Delirium to see LeBron against Hezonja: tickets, 731% more expensive

There are still two months left until the new NBA season begins but the LeBron James effect is already being felt a lot in Philadelphia because there is nothing more to see than how much ticket prices have skyrocketed compared to last year.

According to numbers from the TickPick portal, collected by ClutchPoints, the price for the cheapest ticket for the Sixers’ first home game last year was $68. A real bargain compared to the 565 that will cost the most affordable ticket for Philly’s first game in front of its fans, against Mario Hezonja’s Cleveland Cavaliers on October 22. The increase is a scandalous 731%.

Philadelphia debuts on the 20th against the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden in what will be a morbid debut for LeBron as the Sixers will try to ruin the New York team’s party for the reception of their ring.

With the permission of the Knicks themselves, Philly is on paper the absolute favorite in the East with The King at 41 years old leading a stunning starting quintet with Joel Embiid, Jaylen Brown, Tyrese Maxey and VJ Edgecombe.

In Philadelphia they have not seen their team win a ring since 1983 or play in the Conference Finals since 2001, when that legendary roster led by MVP Allen Iverson reached the NBA Finals that they lost against the Lakers of Shaquille O’Neal and Kobe Bryant. Desperate to get even closer to glory, Philly is crazy to see LeBron.
