Jaime Pradilla: “When I have to decide my future I will speak”

Jaime Pradilla, Valencia Basket power forward, indicated that he will talk about his future when he really decides, this Wednesday, before the VII Spanish Basketball Gala, where he received the award for Best National Player.

“Right now I’m here, I’m focused on the national team. Right now, on the award I’m going to receive. And well, when I have to decide my future I’ll speak,” Pradilla said.

The player was questioned about his future, after various information pointed to a possible arrival at Real Madrid, a team that seems willing to pay his termination clause.

Likewise, there is also speculation about a possible arrival of Pedro Martínez to the White House as a replacement for Sergio Scariolo, something that for Pradilla would not be definitive when making a decision.

“I think I have to think about myself. In the end they are two completely parallel decisions and with both coaches I have been very good and with both of them I have won great things. The truth is that it would have nothing to do with my decision, since it is a personal thing that I have to talk to my people, with my family and decide with them,” he stated.

Regarding the one who has been his coach this season, and with whom they have won the Super Cup and the Endesa League, he said that he would understand his possible arrival in Madrid, and he wished him “the best possible outcome.”

On a personal level, he said he was happy with his level last season in Valencia, since it will now “allow” him to decide his next step in his career.

On the other hand, the Zaragoza power forward was focused on Spain’s upcoming commitments, which will play in the next qualifying window against Denmark and Georgia.
