The Argentines who will play the EHL 2026

Less than a week until the start of the EHL definitionthe most important club competition in Europe, which will be played at HC’s-Hertogenbosch in the Netherlands and will have the presence of some players from Argentinaamong them one who will defend the title.

Seven Argentines and one South American will be present in the Euro Hockey League that will be played from April 1 to 6 and, as usual, you can see it through the Disney+ Premium Plan. Below, a review of each of the players who will be in the men’s and women’s competition.

In the men’s EHL there are only two South Americans: an Argentine and a Chilean. The Argentine is the player of Los Leones Maico Casellawho has just won the previous EHL 24/25 with Gantoise of the Belgian League, and the Chilean – nationalized German – is the goalkeeper Adrian Henriquez, who plays for Crefelder HTC of Germany.

And in the ladies’ EHL there are seven Argentines: in it Mannheimer HC from Germany are Lucina Von der Heydewho recently became a German citizen, and the sisters Agustina and Florencia Habif (the latter is pregnant). In it Braxgata HC from Belgium is found Ivanna Pessinawho emerged from the Ciudad de Buenos Aires Club and today represents the Italian National Team. In Gantoise this Mercedes Pastorwho is a naturalized Italian but is a native of Hurling Club.

Just as in gentlemen there is Casella in Gantoisein ladies it is Guadalupe Fernandez Lacorta player who started at Banco Provincia. Finally, in the Egara from Spain this Lola Breaanother Argentine who currently plays for the Azzurre.
