The last places for the new league phase have been defined and here we tell you everything you need to know for the second leg of the playoffs.


The UEFA Women’s Champions League is ready with its 18 teams for the league phase.

This third round was divided into two routes: the champions route and the league route. There were four confrontations of the first and five of the second. The winner of each key will qualify for the league phase and the nine losers access the second qualifying round of the new Women’s Europa Cup.

How does the classification work?

The champions of the previous season and the national champions of the three highest-ranked national associations, which qualify directly in the current format, the champions of the associations ranked 4 to 6 and the runners-up of associations 1 and 2 will directly advance to the league stage.

When and where is the league phase draw?

The draw for the league phase will be held on Friday, September 19 in Nyon, Switzerland, at 6 am ET | 4am CDMX | 7am Argentina.

When will the league phase be played?

It will be held from October 7 to December 17.

How does the Giveaway work?

Clubs qualify for these draws according to the club coefficient rankings established since the start of the season and in accordance with the rules of the Women’s Football Committee.

In both modalities, a draw between the same number of seeded and unseeded clubs will determine the tiebreakers. The club drawn first will play the first leg at home. Before the ceremony, FIFA will announce more details about the procedure.
