WNBA: all-Star Satou Sabally signs multi-year agreement with Liberty
Satou Sabally was one of the most coveted free agents of the WNBA offseason.
Satou Sabally signed a multi-year contract with New York Libertyhis agent, Zack Miller of WME Basketball, told AM850 on Saturday.
Sabally was one of the most coveted free agents last offseason before joining Phoenix Mercury. He led the team in scoring with 16.3 points and also averaged 5.9 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.3 steals, earning him his third All-Star Game appearance.
In the playoffs, Sabally averaged 19 points and seven rebounds, helping the Mercury reach the WNBA Finals. He suffered a concussion in the third game that prevented him from playing in the final game of the series.
Sabally, 27, was unable to participate in Unrivaled in January due to the aftermath of the concussion.
