Tsitsipas saved Greece in the United Cup

Stefanos Tsitsipas saved Greece in the United Cup. And Spain suffered its second defeat in the mixed tournament taking place between Perth and Sydney.

Jessica Bouzas put the Spanish team ahead in the women’s singles match by beating Maria Sakkari by a resounding 6-2, 6-1 in a magnificent match; but Stefanos Tsitsipas stopped Pablo CarreƱo, whom he beat 6-4, 4-6 and 6-3.

The Spanish surprised the Hellenes in the first set, allowing them to take control 6-4, but the Greeks reacted and balanced the match with a 6-3 to send them to the super-tiebreaker.
