The year in the men’s professional circuit came to an end and with nothing more and nothing less than the most anticipated match. On one hand, Carlos Alcaraz and from the other, Jannik Sinner. The setting? Nothing more and nothing less than the definition of the ATP Finals 2025, in Turin (Italy). Finally, after a great display of tennis, the victory and trophy remained in the hands of Sinner, who had the full support of his audience and won 7-6 (4) and 7-5.

Neither of them could have come to this meeting better. With wins in their three group stage matches, they did the same again in the semifinals. Jannik easily defeated Alex De Miñaur, 7-5 and 6-2, and Alcaraz defeated the Canadian Felix Auger-Aliassime, 6-2 and 6-4. In this way, they will play their sixth match of the season (4-1 for Carlitos, so far). In addition, the record is favorable 10-5 for the Spanish.

In addition to what the mythical Masters Tournament entails, in the run-up to the contest there was an even greater unknown than the future champion: the fight for number 1 in the world. The protagonists, of course, Alcaraz and Sinner.

However, the Italian was aware that it was utopian to hope to close the season at the top, since he had to defend the crown in Turin and, also, hope that Carlitos does not advance from the group stage. Therefore, whatever happens in the final, the ranking would not change.

Likewise, the outcome of the ATP Finals 2025 left several changes in the Top 10. Below are all the changes and details within the select group. One of those who took advantage was Novak Djokovic, who will end the year 4th and is guaranteed not to play with any of the two best in the world until the semifinals of the Australian Open, added to the fact that he was just over 300 points away from being 3rd.
