The NBA attends another basketball lesson from Sergio de Larrea
Sergio de Larrea gave his umpteenth basketball lesson in this Summer League, giving the NBA a masterclass for a pass-first point guard of those who are becoming increasingly fewer. The Valencia youth player may not have days inspired by shooting as was the case in the Dallas Mavericks’ victory against Aday Mara’s Thunder (97-87), with only 2 points but he will always be good at distributing, shooting up to 14 assists plus 9 rebounds.
His good friend Mara watched him as another spectator from the bench, who rested and could not lead to an expected duel between Spaniards against De Larrea and the Díaz Graham twins. Jorge had 7 points, 5 rebounds, 1 assist, 2 steals and 3 blocks in 23 minutes with 3/8 in field goals and 1/4 in triples while Guillermo recorded 6 points and 3 rebounds in just 8 minutes with 2/4 in shooting in a display of efficiency.
