The Lions won, liked and beat India in the Pro League 25/26

The Lions’ hockey exhibition against India. After the setback against Belgium, Argentina recovered in an excellent way in India to show that they are in an excellent present.

From start to finish, Argentina was superior to the Asians in the match. Although in the first minutes of the match India had two penalties that were saved by Thomas Santiago (the first was repeated for overtaking and the second was valid), Los Leones instantly found the first goal of the match from the hand of Tomás Ruiz (14′)who had committed the penalty but vindicated it with a great goal from a right backhand shot to the roof of the goal.

Less than a minute later and when the curtain closed on the first quarter, Tomás Domene (15´) He scored the first of his four goals (yes, goal poker). In the second quarter, with an Argentina full of confidence, the result went from 2-0 to 7-0 in just 15 minutes: two more goals Domene (20′ and 26′)a bit of Lucio Méndez Pin (22´)another of Ignacio Ibarra (25′) and one of Nicolás Della Torre (30´). Lucas Rey’s team knew how to take advantage of every defensive error by the locals

The entire second half was much calmer, without as much intensity on the part of Los Leones. The third quarter had little or nothing and in the fourth and final quarter, with the departure of Tomás Santiago so that Nehuén Hernando could add minutes in this FIH Pro League, India attacked a little more, but received no real danger except for a short corner saved by the defense. When the curtain of the play closed, Tomás Domene (60′) sealed the final 8-0 with a backhand cross. Historic win for Los Leones against India as a visitor.
