The Leoncitos beat Chile and are in the final of the JR Pan American Games

The Leoncitos thrashed the Jr. Diabos and will look for the gold of the Junior 2025 Pan American Games Next Monday, August 18. Argentina, as in the entire group stage, proved to be much superior to its rival (this time to Chile) and beat 5 to 0 to maintain a new undefeated fence and get the classification to the final of the contest.

Those led by Juan Ignacio Gilardi came from giving three victories in three games of the group A (11 to 0 vs. Brazil, 8 to 0 vs. United States and 20 to 0 vs. Paraguay) and came to this meeting (and tournament) as the clear favorites. While his rival had lost a game in the group stage, in the papers he was, together with the United States, one of the most complicated opponents he could face.

The goals of the match were marked by: Bruno Correawhich opened and closed the goeled of the Leoncitos against Chile (1´ and 60´), Juan Fernández (23), Nicolás Rodríguez (25´) and Juan Boretti (41´). In the final of next Monday he will face Canada for the gold of the Pan American Junior Games of Asunción 2025 and for the classification for the Pan American Games of Limas 2027.
