The 108th edition of the Italy turn It will begin on May 9 in Durazzo, Albania, and will end on June 1 in Rome. The great depart from Albania marks the 15th time that the turn starts outside Italy. The key stages include the counterreloj in Tirana (13.7 km) on the second day, another chrono between Lucca and Pisa (28.6 km), and especially three days of high mountain: stage 7 in Tagliacozzo, the 16th in Valentino and 20 in the 20th in Sestrière, which includes the mythical Colle delle delle Furrestre as top Coppi, the highest point of the route with 2,178 meters.

23 teams and 184 cyclists will participate. The competition promises to be especially at odds in the third week, with accumulation of unevenness and long stages in the Alps, where the successor of Pogacar could be defined in El Palmarés. Rome will host the final arrival for seventh, in a flat stage designed for sprinters.
