The French Federation maintains the relegation of the Girondins that could disappear in a few days
The disappearance of Bordeaux Girondins It’s closer than ever. After an entire summer trying to manage his entry into the National 2 (what in Spain would be the Second Federation), the Executive Committee of the French Football Federation has decided to send him to Regional 1 and, therefore, condemn him to liquidation.
A liquidation that could take place in the next yes, finally, the situation does not change. For this reason, the team itself has issued an official statement through its social networks in which it expresses its deep anger and resignation after hearing the news and where, in addition, it points out the humiliating treatment that, in its opinion, it believes it is receiving.
“A club founded in 1881, six-time champion of France, cannot be sent to judicial liquidation at the end of a meeting of a few minutes, which reflects neither its history nor its importance for French football. The club’s arguments – an executive ruling confirming its solvency, a season entirely financed by paid and sequestered funds, a committed investor, a vacant place in group H – have not been examined. And a delay in the production of funds of ten days, now repaired, does not deserve such sanction,” they point out in the statement.
Despite everything, the club advocates continuing to fight and announces that it will not give up: “The club’s demands are, therefore, the same as yesterday, the day before yesterday and all the preceding days: to be heard by the Executive Committee, and then by the DNCG, about its situation as it currently is. The club puts itself at its disposal at all times, and will continue to act, through all legal means, so that its situation is fairly examined,” they stated.
