Lorenzo Musetti, Flavio Cobolli, Matteo Berrettini, Andrea Vavassori and Simone Bolelli will be the names of the Italian team that will serve as the home team in the Davis Cup Finals 2025 in Bologna.

And from there a big absence emerges: Jannik Sinner, current No. 2 in the world.

Filippo Volandri, the captain, put the loss into words: “Sinner has not confirmed his availability for 2025. The Davis Cup is, and always will be, his home, and I am sure that Jannik will return to the team soon. In the meantime, I can count on a group willing to fight and give everything for the blue shirt.”

The competition will take place from November 18 to 23. The 2025 Davis Cup Final 8 will take place at the Bologna Fiere, on a hard indoor surface.

In the quarterfinals, Italy will face Austria on Wednesday, November 19.
