Anthony Davis will be out for several weeks for a distension in the adductor, sources told AM850 on Sunday night

The Ala-Pivot/Pivot star of the Dallas Mavericks, Anthony Davis, stay out for several weeksdue to a distension in the left adductor, Sources told AM850 Sunday night.

Their absence could extend to a month, the sources said, due to an injury that interrupted its spectacular debut with its new franchise.

Davis, the protagonist of the return of the Mavs after the controversial exchange of the 25 -year -old superstar Luka Doncic, came out in Saturday’s victory over the Houston Rockets with 1:37 remaining in the third quarter, after registering 26 points, 16 rebounds , 7 assists and 3 locks in 31 minutes.

He was discarded for the game at Monday against the Sacramento Kings when the MAVs published the Night injury report.

Davis, 31, minimized concern for the injury after the game, saying that he was “very sure” that it was not a significant setback. Davis lost the five previous games-the last three with the Los Lakers angels and the first two with the MAVs-due to an abdominal distention.

“My leg was simply tense, like a small spasm,” Davis said on Saturday. “I just came back and tried to loosen her and everything. Obviously, I’m still dealing with abdominal distension, so I tried to loosen her. It really didn’t let go, but it’s nothing serious. I’m fine.”

The Holder Washington eaves, who stayed out of the second half of the victory over the rockets due to a right ankle sprain, is on the list of questionable to the Kings. Kex Christie key reserves (right shoulder distension) and Dante Exum (distension in the left Achilles tendon) are also in doubt.
