Sabrina Ionescu is being evaluated day by day, according to Liberty coach Sandy Brondello.

SAN FRANCISCO – THE BASE OF New York Liberty, Sabrina ionchis third consecutive game was lost on Tuesday against the Golden State Valkyries Due to an injury to the big toe of the left foot.

Ionescu is considered to be evaluated day by day, according to coach Sandy Brondello. The injury, which suffered last week in a training, has kept it out of four of the last five games.

Ionescu trained on Monday, but Brondello commented that he was not yet comfortable with the authorization to play in San Francisco, which is about 40 kilometers from his hometown, Walnut Creek.

“This is his hometown, he has great support here,” Bondello said. “Unfortunately, he can’t play tonight, but we have the general panorama in mind. We just need to recover because it is very important for what we are doing.”

Liberty (24-16) arrived on Tuesday night with the fifth best league record with four remaining games in the regular season.
