Point guard Rafa Villar reinforces the playing direction of Kids&Us Manresa

He Kids&Us Manresa announced this Thursday the signing of the Catalan point guard Rafa Villar for the next season.

The Barcelona player, 21 years old and 1.91 meters tall, arrives from the Kosner Baskoniawith which he agreed to terminate the contract that bound him until June 30, 2028 after a season in which he had a secondary role.

In his only season in the Vitorian team he played 67 games in different competitions. In the Endesa League he averaged 2.4 points, 1.4 rebounds and 1.2 assists, while in the Euroleague he offered 0.8 points, 0.6 rebounds and 0.5 assists per game. He was also part of the squad that won the Copa del Rey.

With this addition, the Manresa team adds a new quota player and reinforces a diminished game direction after the captain’s departure this summer. Dani Perez and of Retin Obasohan.

Villar is the second signing confirmed by Manresa for the next season, after the arrival of the Bulgarian power forward Jordan Minchevannounced last week.
