Perfect day for Argentine tennis in the qualifying of the Paris Masters 1000

The start of the tour is approaching in the main draw of the Paris Masters 1000the last contest of the category in 2025. It will take place from next Monday, October 27, until Sunday, November 2. Three Argentines are already part of the main draw: Francisco Cerúndolo (21st in the world ranking), Sebastián Báez (43rd) and Camilo Ugo Carabelli (49th). But to this list of names were added Tomás Etcheverry (58°) and Francisco Comesaña (68°).

The two Albiceleste players began their participation in the tournament in the French capital from the qualywhere they celebrated their move to the main draw twice: Etcheverry easily defeated the Dutchman Jesper De Jong 6-2, 6-3 while Comesaña did the same against Belgian David Goffin 6-1 and retired.

In this way, the two Argentine tennis players secured their place in the last Masters 1000 tournament of the season. The first will star in an Argentine duel against Camilo Ugo Carabellihaving as a reward a match in the second round against Alexander Zverev, recent runner-up in Vienna. On the other hand, the second will do the same against a Top 10: Felix Auger-Aliassime.
