Novak Djokovic already knows his draw and potential rivals for the Indian Wells Masters 1000

After his outstanding start to the season by reaching the final of the Australian Open, the Serbian Novak Djokovic (3rd) will continue his stop in California, United States, where this Monday he met his team and potential rivals ahead of his 17th presentation at the Indian Wells Masters 1000.

Top historical champion of the event with five crowns (2008, 2011, 2014, 2015 and 2016), the former number 1 in the ATP world ranking, who took the opportunity to meet again with two legends of the sport, after offering a motivating talk at the University of California in Los Angeles (UCLA), will try to leave behind the tough defeat against the Dutch Botic Van de Zandschulp (59th) in his debut from the last edition.

In this way, the owner of 101 titles at the highest level, 24 in Grand Slam tournaments, will clash for second round of the Indian Wells Masters 1000 2026 (in the first one it has bye for being seeded) against the winner of the duel between the Polish Kamil Majchrzak (N°57) and French Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard (No. 54). In both cases, it will be the winner’s first confrontation against Djokovic.

It should also be mentioned that Nole fell on the side of the box Carlos Alcarazso if he gets into the semifinals, the Serbian could face the world number one once again. On the other hand, as potential semi-finalists, they were Jannik Sinner and Alexander Zverev.
