Christmas comes as a gift for basketball fans with the NBA matchday on December 25 on the AM850 family of channels in the United States and Disney+ in Mexico.
It is the most wonderful time of the year: Christmas comes as a gift for basketball fans with the NBA matchday on December 25 which, as always, is full of rivalries, superstars and possible playoff previews.
Wednesday’s five games can be seen in Spanish on AM850 Deportes and in English simultaneously on AM850, ABC and AM850+ in the United States, and in Mexico on Disney+.
The action begins at noon Eastern Time (11 am CDMX) with the New York Knicks hosting Victor Wembanyama and the San Antonio Spurs at Madison Square Garden, followed by Anthony Edwards and the Minnesota Timberwolves playing at the home of Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks (2:30 pm ET; 1:30 pm CDMX) in a rematch of last season’s Western Conference finals.
The champions Boston Celtics host the Philadelphia 76ers then at 5 pm ET (4 pm CDMX), while LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers face each other prime time to Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors (8 pm ET; 7 pm CDMX) at the Chase Center in San Francisco. James, the NBA’s all-time points leader, is also the leading scorer in Christmas games with 476 points.
Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets close the day in Phoenix, in a matchup against Kevin Durant and the Suns (10:30 pm ET, 9:30 pm CDMX).
