The 2026 season begins with the confrontation between the New York Yankees and the San Francisco Giants on Wednesday, March 25, followed by 11 opening games the next day. The remaining six teams will play their first games of the season on Friday, March 27.

Thirty of the best pitchers in the Major Leagues will take the mound, including eight making their first Opening Day starts and 15 All-Stars.
