Metropolitan Tournament: which teams have been promoted so far?

The 2025 Metropolitan Tournament is coming to an end, and some teams have already managed to advance to different categories. For both women and men, we review those who made sure to move up a category, and those who have possibilities, but who still need to be defined with the upcoming dates.

In gentlemen, Santa Barbara A and SAG of Polvorines They secured their place in the top category and will play in 2026 in A. Tournament B and C do not have relegations or promotions.

In ladies it is not so easy. With six categories there are many promotions, and there are already teams that will play next year in another tournament.

Promotions 2025 – ladies

  • Hurling A rose from C1 to B.

  • Puerto Nizuc rose from D3 to C.

  • Saint Patrick from E3 to D.

  • Military High School from E4 to D.

  • Boca Juniors from F4 to E.

  • SITAS B from F1 to E.

  • Platense from G1 to F.

  • The Fronton from G2 to F.

  • Ferro D from G3 to F.

Teams with possibilities:

  • Belgrano, Olivos, SIC and Naval High Schoolfrom B to A.

  • Tristán Suárez, Mariano Moreno and Pucaráfrom C2 to B.

  • Truckers and Municipality of Vicente Lópezfrom D2 to C.

  • GEBA C and Almafuertefrom D4 to C.

  • Los Matreros, Santa Bárbara C, Racing Club and Quilmes Cfrom E1 to D.

  • Southern Association, Tigre Rugby Club and U. La Matanzafrom E2 to D.

  • Belgrano Day School Club, San Fernando C, La Martona and Las Cañas Rugby Clubfrom F2 to E.

  • Los Matreros B, Pucará C, Boca Juniors B and San Martín Cfrom F3 to E.
